NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER, TVTOTICE is hereby given that at a " L>l Special Meeting of the Hawera County Council held at the County Chambers, Hawera, on SATURDAY, 6th July, 1929, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for eonlirmation a,t an. ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on SATURDAY, the 7th day of SEPTEMBER, 1929, a.t 10.30 a.'in. at the County Chambers, Hawera. THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers l vested in it in that behalf by “The Counties Adt, 1920," and “The Counties Amendments Act, 1927,” and of all other powers in that behalf it enabling the Hawera County Council hereby .resolves by way of Special Order as follows: — THAT for the. purpose of providing Fire Protection by Agreement with the Hawera Fire Board within that portion of the County of Hawera which is described in the schedule hereto, the said Hawera County Council hereby makes and levies a Separate Rate of One-sixth of a penny in the pound upon lahl rateable property within .that portion only of the County of Hawera which is described in the schedule hereto on the basis of the value of the buildings in the said area exclusive of the value of 'the sites on which such buildings are erected.

Suck separate irate shall be for the •period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1929, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1930, and shall be payable in one sum to the County Clerk and Treasurer at the County Office, Hawera, on the 7th day of September, 1929. N.B. —The Schedule affects portion of the County adjoining the Hawera Fire District. A Copy of the proposed Special Ordei and the said Schedule is deposited a 1 the office of the Council, and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours at any time prior to the said meeting on the 7th day of September, 1929. IyjpOTICE is hereby given that the Ha-w-era Borough Council, as Trustee of King Edward Park, by virtue of the powers vested in it under “The Public Reserves and Domains and National Parks Act, 1928,” has -granted the Taranaki Indies’ Hockey Association the exclusive use of that portion of the said Park usually known ais “The Sports Ground” on SATURDAY, the 17th day of August, 1929, with authority for the said Association to charge a fee not exceeding one shilling for each person for admission to the said portion of the Park on the day mentioned.
