J. C. Smith will hold a sale of fruit, cash register, scales, cart and harness, etc., on account of Lai a and Son, who are giving up business and leaving the district. Tlx© sale will he held at the shop to-morrow (Thursday) morning, and a full list will be found elsewhere in this issue. He will also hold his usual sale in the afternoon at the mart of poultry, harness, Brunswick gramophone, furniture, and fruit, commencing at 1.30 p.m.
