DOMINION’S FINANCES.

A cablegram was received to-day by ihe Prime Minister from the High Commissioner, .stating that the •‘London Times," in a leading article, makes favourable reference* to the finances of the Dominion. Sir Joseph Ward expressed satisfaction with the comment, adding that in view of Lino fact that no effort had been made on the part of the Government to the financial authorities in England it would ho assuring to some New Zealanders who were having some misrepresentation,s put before them in connection with the Budget.
