SUCCESSES IN WIMTINO •COAI,PETITION. The following pupils of the Tawhiti School have been successful in the British and Colonial Industries writing competition: Susie Saunders (who wins the free trip for self and parent from Timnru to Alt. Cook), Rita ATcore (10s (hi), Eunice Spavin (10s Od), Edith Bublitz (10s (hi), Aimee Small (His). James Saunders (7s (id). Elm a Lee (7s (id), Dovis Hawkins (6s (id). The school secured six first prizes, one second and one third, -and received the cordial 'congratulations of the promoters on winning It he chief prize, the trip to Ml. Cook.
