POPFLAB SETTLERS ENTERTAINED.

An indication of the popularity of Messrs James, Jqs*. and Jock McCarty, young banners of Auroa, wbo have been in the district al.l fneir .fives, and who have been prominent in various branches) of sport, was given bv the large attendance irour all parts of the district at a smoke concert given in their honour on Monday evening in the 4uroa Hall. Espin) ; "Business Interests" (Messrs Morrissey. Pettigrew. E. Sandford. J. McCarty. T. W. Eiaves <andi Kruse).
