NORMANBY.
TOWN BOAGRD MEETING. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The ordinary meeting of the Nornianby Town Board was held last night, there being present: Crs. C. F. Preston (chairman), A. Galloway, T. Lloyd, and P. Leyclon. A letter was received from the district engineer of railways with plans enclosed setting out the distances at which the St. Andrews Gross signs should he placed from railway crossings. Tlhe letter was held over until next meeting. Mr Gooding, health inspector, waited oil the board in oonneetio«n with the rubbish dump for the town district. This matter will be discussed at the next meeting of the board. Bates for the current year were struck as follows: Town district rates of 2:[d in the £l. Accounts to the amount of £7O Ids lOd were passed for payment.
