LADING OF SHIPS.
EXPERTS PRESENT REPORT. INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENT DESIRED. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 16. In reply to a question in Parliament, the president of the Board of Trade, the Rt. Hon. Mr. Graham, said that statutory rules for finding the position of leadline on ship® which had been in force since 1890 have been modified from time to time, in the light of increased experience and improved construction of ships. A further revision olf the rules had been undertaken by an expert committee who are expected to report very soon. It was proposed to send their report to the Dominions and Foreign Governments for consideration and efforts will he made to secure an international agreement on the subject of leadline.
