TRIAL OF COMMUNISTS.
SENTENCES OF IMPRISONMENT IMPOSED. (Australian Press Association—United Service.) Received 10.55 a.m. to-day. CONSTANTINOPLE, July 17. , The trial of 35 Communists, accused of disseminating Communist propaganda and attempting to undermine the existing regime in Turkey, resulted in 26 being sentenced, each to four and a half years’ imprisonment.
