CELTIC CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING. The first annual meeting of the Celtic Association Football Club was held last night, when Mr A. J. Haseltine presided over a. fair attendance of members. . The annual report, as published in yesterday’s "Star,” was adopted, torrether with the balance-sheet, which revealed a small surplus on the year s working. .. In reviewing tlie season s operations, the chairman said that the club, for a new one, had done exceptionally well. At every game more than enough players had turned up. The election of officers for -the ensuing year resulted as follows: Patron. Air H. G. Dickie, ALP.; president, Mr A. ,T Haseltine; vice-presidents, Messrs J. E. Campbell, C. O. Ekdahl and A. E. Burge; secretary, Mr A. M. Cowie; treasurer. Air E. Piper; auditor. Mr N. 1> Alahonev; club captain, Air. 1. GPeters; delegates to the Taranaki Football Association, president and club captain; executive, president, secretary, treasurer, club captain, team captain, and Air J. Campbell; selectors, club and. team captains. The matter of fixing the executive, s regular meeting night was held over. The secretary was- given instructions to make enquiries as to when the < r round would be available, so that a Sato could be fixed for the first prac--1 ice.
