EGG=LAYING COMPETITION

RESULTS TO DATE, The undermentioned results have been supplied by Mr D. Stewart, supervisor of the Xonnanby depot of the Taranaki egg-laying competition for eggs laid for the week ended March 13, tlio 49th week of the competitions. The present competitions will conclude next week, and on Wednesday all birds will be returned to their owners. Last Thursday the entries were judged by Mr Cocker, Government poultry instructor, and considering the strenuous period through which the birds have been subjected, their condition was satisfactory. A number of the birds will exceed the 200 mark, and this is considered good for the first year of the competitions, W HITE LEG HO RN S.
