The handsome trophies won by the Hawera Fire Brigade at the recent N.Z.U.F.B.A. demonstration at Hokitika are now on view in the window of Blair’s Ltd., High Street. There are six shields, comprising the Championship, Alanual, Merryweather, Camel, Simplex and High Pressure Shields. The Duplex Cup and jubilee gold medals are also on view and the latter are particularly fine examples of the jeweller ’s art.
