CROQUET.
SOUTH TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. 13 GRADE TOURNEY CONTINUED. The 13 grade croquet tournament was continued yesterday and this morning. Some very interesting contests have been witnessed. The tournament is now reaching the semi-finals in several sections. The heavy rain of last night greatly improved the lawns and all sections were in full swing this morning. To-morrow the semi-finals and final for the Mc-L’Dowie Cup will be played. The clubs competing will be Avon v. Kaponga, and .Park v. Okaiawa. Up to the time of going to press at noon no matches had been completed, and the weather was threatening.
