In the report yesterday of the Hawera Scottish Society it was inadvertently stated that 3VIr. Geo. Syme juiir. was" elected chief for the coining year. This should, of course, have been Mr. George Syme sent - ., who has held that office ever since the inception of the society and has taken a very keen interest in its affairs.
