If the weeks were allowed to spread unchecked, farmers alt over tlie country would be, ruined. He was aware that Mr. Nairn had been agitating on the question at the borough council meetings. Something practical! was necessary ,to deal with the problem all over the .province, and lis felt that sooner or later a, separate body would have to be set up. He did not complain about the inspectors, hth it was a fact that inspectors generally were reluctant to move, and something should 1 be done to make them move. He appreciated the fact that a seat on the board would not be popular in face of the aofcion to be taken, but the position would have to be faced. He promised to do everything possible in the .direction of noxious weeds eradication. He did not like them and never would.
