CHANNEL TUNNEL SCHEME.
POTENTIAL BENEFIT TO BRITISH INDUSTRY. (British Official Wireless.) RU.GBY, Feb. 21. - The transport -committee of the Federation of British Industries at its meeting yesterday passed a- resolution expressing the view that the English Channel tunnel scheme had many features xvhicli would be of potential benefit to British industry, but that uutil further particulars were available it was impossible to express a definite opinion on the proposal.
As a whole -the resolution welcomed the Government’s promise to submit the scheme to thorough investigation.
