The Orchestra will render new selections, learnt since the last performance. The Orchestra has now secured several additional instruments. The whole programme at Hawera and at the Town Hall, Wellington, will be given by the Orchestra. There will be songs by Master Jaimes Collins and Miss Doris Gilmore (sopranos); recitations by Mavis Tapp and Ray Musehamp; clarionet solo by Dave Rawson; horn solos by Ray Hawkins and violin solos (by Louis Fox and Ray Downey (all of these performers being competition winners).
