CRUISER LIMITATION.
AMERICA AND BRITAIN. AGREEMENT MOOTED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) . WASHINGTON, Jan. 29. A move to. authorise the President to seek a naval disarmament agreement with Britain before any keels of the new cruisers are laid, was stated in the Senate, when Senator Norris (Independent Republican) offered such an amendment to the Cruiser Bill. Senator Norris’ amendment that requests the President to enter- -into an agreement with Britain for a limitation in the construction of cruisers and; aircraft carriers, will bo discussed later.
