SYDNEY, Jan. 24. There have been no developments to-day in the coal crisis. The miners’ representatives say the next move must come either from the Government or coal owners, A full council of the Miners’ Federation is meeting on February 5 at Newcastle. It is authoritatively stated here that the coal owners are unlikely to take any action for a month. Meanwhile, new proposals might emanate from the Government.
The industry is carrying on without a hitch during the interval.
