HAWERA FIRE BOARD.
G OVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVE. V,lt. L. A. BONE APPOINTED. (By Telegraph—Special to The Star.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 25. Tihe Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. P. de fa Perelle, has. appointed Mir L. A. Bone as the Government representative on the Hawera Fire Board. Air L. A. Bone has, been chairman of the Hawera Fire Board for iseveral years, and has been appointed Government representative vice Air H. L. Spratt, resigned. To fulfil the requirements of the Act, Councillor W. G. Strange, of the Hawera Borough Council, has been appointed to represent the borough in conjunction with Councillor G. J. Bayley.
