Melbourne shareholders of the Barnet Glass Rubber Company, Limited, unanimously approved of the terms offered by the Dunlop Rubber Company for the purchase of the whole of the Barnet Glass ordinary shares at 32s each, aggre'ga-ting £SBO,OOO. The view has been expressed that further amalgamation is likely to be announced shortly, thereby stabilising th € rubber manufacturing trade in Australa.
