WEDDING.

MORR ISSEY—CONAGLEN. The marriage was celebrated at New .Plymouth on Wednesday, January 16, of Helen Marion, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Conaglen, New Plymouth, and Carthage Edward, second son of Mr. E. Morrissey, Hawera. The ceremony was performed by the ller. Father Emmet Mc’Hardy, assistedby Her. Father Barr-Brown. 'J/he bride was attended by Miss Myra Morrissey, sister of the Bridegroom, and the best man was Mr. Bernard Mc’Carthy, jr., of Hawera. The bride was attired in a smart model frock of parchment coloured georgette and lace and wore an irory lace veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaid’s frock was a tea-rose tinted erepe-de-chene. A reception was afterwards held when about fifty guests were entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Conaglen at the luncheon.

The toast “of bride and bridegroom” was proposed by Father Mc’Hardy, “the bridesmaid and best man,” by Mr. J. B. C .'onaglen, “the bride and bridegroom-e parents,” by Mi'. T. Mc’Pldllips and the clergy by Mr. Bernard McCarthy of Hawera. The bride and bridegroom later left bv train for Wanganui and Wellington where' the honeymoon will be spent. The bi-ide travelled in a Rose Marie silk morrocain frock and handsome marmot fur coat •with hat to match frock. Mr. and Mrs. Morrissey will live in Kaponga.
