THE FLOWER SHOW. preliminary' arr angements. An annual event of interest to the people of the Alatapu district- is the flower show. On Monday evening a general meeting was held, at which officials were appointed' and other details arranged, the date being fixed for February 27. . Mr SV. A. Guy was elected chairman, Mr H. Points prizes in several sections were promised by members, and it was resolved to offer for competition a • bag J of sugar, a bag of flour and a 51b box of tea. _ . .1 .
