STORMS IN BRITAIN.
TOWN ISOLATED FOR FIVE DAYS. (British Official Wireless.! RUGBY, Jan. .14. While over Britain a severe frost has been followed by a gradual thaw, Exmoor has experienced during the last fortnight the most severe weather known for some years. Gales followed heavy snow, and drifts were formed in some places 15 feet deep. The moorland town Simonbath was cut off from the outside world for five days, but a path has now been made from" Dulverton. The frost, had' been so hard that saw s were used to cut a space before spades could be employed.
