China was linked up with the western world to-day -by radio, with the- inauguration of the Chinese Government radio service capable of communicating with the greater part of the world. Twenty-two important cities throughout the country have been linked up with the central station at Shanghai. Inauguration messages were successfully exchanged between Shanghai and New York.
