The annual picnic of the Hawera railway staff takes place to-morrow at Opunake beach. The picnic has always been recognised as one of the most popular outings of the season, and judging by the interest shown by the general public in to-morrow’s function, an excellent day’s enjoyment may be confidently anticipated.
