TIMAEU CLUB’S MEETING. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) TIMARU, Jan. 12. The summer meeting of the Tima.ru Trotting Club was held to-day on the! course at Washdyke. under favourable weather conditions. The track was in good condition and there wats a 'representative, attendance. The 'results were: CLAREMONT HANDICAP. Of 120 oovs. One mile and a half. 4 Pavo 1 5 Great Net:son 2 3 Ken-eta 3 Scratched: North Queen. Won by a neck, four lengths between second and third. Time, 42.2-5. IMPROVERS’ HANDICAP. Of 120 sovs. One mile and a half. 3 Sunny Bob 1 1 Slogan 2 12 Wee Brant 3 Scratched: Lindbergh. Won by two lengths, with half a length, between second and third. Time, 3.32. P R ESI DENT ’ S HANDICAP. Of 350 soys. Two miles. 2 Dundas Boy 1 11 Omaha -2 7 Author Jinks 3 Scratched: Harold Burwood, Macaranda, and Fine,blight. Won by a neck, with two lengths between second and third. Time, 4.31 3-5.
