THREE SURVIVORS.
STEAMER WRECKED IN MEDITERRANEAN.
RESCUED FROM RACING YACHT.
(United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) Received 1.20 p.m. to-day. PARIS, Jan. 10. Three survivors have landed at Marseilles from the steamer Makaloff, which sank in a gale in the Mediterranean a week ago. When the lifeboat sank these three climbed aboard a racing yacht which was part of the cargo which was flung into the sea when the Mala.k-off struck the rock. The l survivors were at the mercy of the tempest for six days, and were picked up by a passing vessel in an exhausted condition.
