PUBLIC LIBRARY. (From Our Own Correspondent). The committee of the Eltlinm Public Library met in the library room on Fridav evening. Mrs. J-. Sxmc piesided,' and Mrs. AY. Wilson, Messrs. Dover, Townsend, Reeves and Egaar (seeretarv). An application for absence was received from Mr. 1. J. Bridget-. The librarian reported that 91 new books had been purchafced and placed in. the library since the last meeting oi the committee. Four members had resigned aiid two new subscribers tyid jomed. The total number .of .subsenners on tlie roll was HU.
