SUICIDE WHILE INSANE. ( (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER. Dee. 21. At the inquest concerning Harry Duncan Morton, who was found drowned in the harbour yesterday, a verdict of suicide while temporarily insane was returned. ENGINEER, ELECTROCUTED. WAIPUKURAU. Dec. 21. A fatal accident occurred this morning, when John William Tyrie, a married man, an engineer at Waipukurau Public Hospital came into, contact with a live wire while working at the isolation ward and was electrocuted.

HAMILTON, Dec. 21

An inmate of the Waikeria Borstal Institute, John Lawrence Cosgrove, drove a pitchfork through a foot eight days ago and was admitted to the Waikato Hospital two days ago showing tetanus symptoms. No tetanus was found, but pneumonia developed and 'diphtheria became evident. He collapsed suddenly and died. At the inquest a verdict of death from natural causes was returned. Every care was taken by the institute authorities for the welfare of the patient after the accident.
