RECORD NUMBER OF NEW MOTOR ' OARS. ,By Telegraph—lresa Association.) WEDLING'TON, Dec. 21. The number of new motor cars registered during November was £.237, constituting a record for New Zealand. Only once previously has the two thousand mark been exceeded and that was in December, 1925, IWnen 12134 cars were registered.

The purchase of thirteen new buses for use on the Wellington-Petone-Hutt Main Road, representing approximately an outlay of £26,000 is the immediate programme of the Railway Bus Department.
