THE KINO’S CONDITION
ANOTHER STEP FORWARD
PROGRESS STILL REPORTED
{.Australian Press Association—United Service.) LONDON, Dec. 20. The King passed a quiet night, and there is a continuation of the slight progress marked yesterday, stated a bulletin issued at 11 o’clock this morning.
Received 11.15 a.m. to-day. LONDON, Dec. 20. The fifth consecutive bulletin reporting progress means, in official parlance, that the King lias taken another small step forward. 11l consequence there is greater optimism at Buckingham. Palace. Five doctors •consulted at the palace at 3.30 p.m. land issued the bulletin: “We are j happy to state that the King’s progress is now more firmly established. His strength, breathing, lung and heart are slowly improving.” The consultation took place in order to survey the King’s present progress comprehensively and to discuss lines on which treatment in the immediate future is to oroceed.
