“This is the most remarkable case' I have ever encountered,” was the comment of the South Gloucestershire coroner at the conclusion of an adjourned inquest concerning the charred bodies of two children, aged approximately three to seven, and ten to thirteen, the victims of the Oharfield railway disaster. “After a long lapse nobody has claimed the children, though everything in power lias been done to solve the mystery.” A porter gave evidence a,s to havingtaken tickets from two children travelling alone.
