;V SOLICITOR. MISSING

CAMBRIDGE, Dec. 10. Alfred Henry Gascoigne', aged 50, a well-known solicitor, late senior -partner of the Cambridge legal firm of Gascoigne and Kingsford, is missing. He left his home at Leamington this morning in a car to l drive liis son to the railway station. Subsequently the car was found in the centre of the high-leve/l bridge which spans the Waikato River. Ais Gascoigne, had .not returned the police were notified' and. made a search, but no 'trace of the missing man was found. Gascoigne lias been in ill-health lately and was very depressed!. The partnership was dissolved on Saturday last. Gascoigne has a wife and two sons, aged IS and 16 years respectively . FARMER’S BODY FOUND. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 10. The body of Arthur Ten well,_ aged 47, a married farmer of ICaipoi, was found late to-night in a clump of scrub near Stewart’s Gufily.
