HAWERA TROTTING CLUB
NEW HANDICAPPED APPOINTED
At the recent committee meeting of the . Hawera Trotting Club Mr. C. E-. Goosman, of Hamilton, was appointed handicapper. Mr. George Paul junr., who has acted as handicapper for a considerable period - to the Hawera club, was recently appointed to a like capacity to the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club, and as the dates of both clubs clash, Mr. Paul would not in future be able to attend Hawera. in person. The appointment of Mr. Goosman, who has had considerable experience in the Auckland and Waikato districts, should meet with the _ approval of all enthusiasts of -the light harness sport.
