COMFORTABLE WIN FOR. SOUTH. 21 MATCHES TO 11. After the lapse of a number of years the Eiltham Club’s courts were on Saturday last engaged for, decision of the North v. South Taranaki fixture. Each of the seven grass courts qh the spacious, (sheltered and altogether charming grounds was in excellent playing order, allowing of fgst and exciting tennis. There was a good attendance of spectators from various parts of the province, and, the weather being perfect, players and spectators alike apparently enjoyed themselves. The local club’s officers left nothing to be desired in the arrangements made for the expeditious conduct of the tournament and the comfort of playens and visitors.. The tournament .resulted in a win for the South representatives by 368 sets and 21 matches to 325 sets and 13 matches.
