S extra eggs per bird per month Thanks to Karswood Poultry Spice Even though eggs are cheaper than they were in the winter, fowls are still paying well if they are laying 20 eggs per bird, per month. How then can this desirable end be achieved? The answer is conveyed in a letter from Mr. S. J. Holter who proved for himself that by the addition of Karswood Poultry Spice (containing ground lnsiectß) to the mash, Ills birds laid 20 eggs per bird in the month, as against 14 eggs per bird per month without Karswood Poultry Spice. Karswood Poultry Spice (containing ground insects) costs less than id. a day for 12 birds, so that tile cost of the Karswood Poultry Spice for one bird in a month is fully covered, even with eggs as low as lid. each, by one extra egg per bird per month, and any further extra eggs come, therefore, as a free gift. I have just made a test over a month, feeding 12 of tlio.se birds in the ordinary way without Karswood Poultry Spice, and 24 birds on Karswood Poultry Spice. The results were that. I obtained from the 12 birds who were not getting Karswood an average of 14 eggs per bird per month, and from tiio 24 which were getting Karswood Poultry Spice an average of 20 eggs per bird per month. 23rd May, 1927.
