United Press Association—By Electric Jelegtapo Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) Received 10.30 a.m. to-day. LONDON, Dec. 5. At the wool sales, the catalogues totalled 110,800' bales. It was estimated that 37,800 were sold at Home, 57,500 to the Continent, 3000 to the United States, and 13,500 were held over. The sales closed with the market firm, all prices being above October. Greasy merinos maintained the full opening advance' of five per cent, except for second-hand lots, which were slightly irregular. Scoureds advanced five per cent-, and pieces and locks generally 10 per cent. Greasy crossbreds, after showing fully 10 per cent advance, closed about 71; scoureds, 5 to 71; slipes, 7} to 10; lambs, merinos fully 10, crossbreds 5 to 10 per cent.
