OPERA HOUSE. TO-NIGHT. “THE MAGIG FLAME.” In “The Magic Flame,” which opens at the Opera House to-night, there is humour and pathos, comedy and .stark tragedy all intermingled in a dazzling stoiy which for sheer novelty and intrigue brings something .entirely now to the cinema. For example, there are, three murders, two of them committed within the first thousand feet of film and yet the picture is not a mystery murder story. Furthermore George Marion, Jr. and Nellie lie veil have written some of the funniest sub-titles ever read and yet the picture is not a wisecracking comedy. Romance it has in plentitude and it is the strong heman type of romance at that. Never does it degenerate into the sickly-sweet type that cloys the palate. The picture will certainly increase the already international reputation that Mr .Colman and Miss B anky have attained as the greatest lovers on the screen. The season is limited to two nights only and intending patrons are advised to reserve. their seats. The box plan is at Miss Blake’s sweet -shop. r ' ' i
