FIRE IN A GARAGE.
FOUR CARS- DESTROYED. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) HOKITIKA, Oct. 31. A fire at 4.30 o’clock this morning gutted the garage of Toohev’s Motors, Lt., in Revell Street, adjoining the Dominion Hotel. Four cars and the contents of the garage were destroyed. The brigade made a splendid 1 save of the adjoining premises, which were not damaged. The insurances are not yet available. The need for protection against fire loss is obvious.
