Len Harvey outclassed Johnny Sullivan at the National Sporting Club last night, the towel being thrown in in the sixth round. PURDY BEATS - FAIRH ALL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Oet. 30. In a fifteen rounds professional boxing contest to-night, Charlie Purdy (9.12) beat the Australian, Tommy Fairhall (9.12), on points. Purdv was slightly the superior in all departments. The town hall was packed. On November 26 Fairhall will meet Harry Casey.
