LARGEST TELESCOPE.
PROPOSED FOR CALIFORNIA. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) —United Service). Received 1.35 p.m. to-day. VANCOUVER, Oct. 29. Pasadena reports that the largest telescope in the w’orld, five, times, the power of the present largest, will, it is proposed, be erected on California Mountain. It will have a reflector of two hundred inches. The telescope and laboratory is a gift from the International Education Board to the California Institute of Technology.
