Milne's, secretary of the League of Loyal Christchurch, in a statement on behalf of the league, said that. th c bishops, by promoting the 1928 Prayer Book, iwcro guilty of seditious conspiracy, 'because they they were exciting the King’s subjects to act unlawfully, and claiming to bo above the law. He said: ‘fWc call on the Prime Minister to put. down sedition and bring the offenders to justice. ’ ’
