Over fifty parcels recently arrived in .Wellingtan and, although their contents were a secret, the Customs officials allowed them to pass without subjecting them to more than a superficial examination. The parcels contained all the music for the A and B grade test selections and quickstep in connection with the band contest to take place at Wanganui. The music is at present -sealed up and under lock and key. After the entries have been received on November 1, it will he distributed amongst the competing'bands. Botli grades promise to be well represented at the contest.
