SYDNEY, Oct. 8. Having drawn up a. policy for the conducting o, the waterfront strike, the conference of the maritime transport unions lia-s concluded. Waterside unionists are to refuse licenses under the Transport Act, and disputes must be confined to present limits. It has been decided to take no action to end the strike. Rians have been formulated whereby other- unions should provide financial assistance to the strikers and their dependents. POLICY OF FIRMNESS SUCCEEDING. ENGLISH PAPER,’S COMMENT.
