Last night a,t Oaonui a farewell and presentations '.were made to Mr and Mrs C. Evetts and family'on the eve of their going to Okaiawfi, where Mr Evetts will replace M, lnncs. Their popularity was amply evidenced by the fact that over four hundred .people attended and many complimentary remarks were made on the work of Mr Evetts. Besides being a fine schoohn'as'ter, he ha's 'taken a keen interest, in the outside interests of the school, and also on the Rugby football o'f the district, Our Wellington correspondent telegraphed to-day that the marriage took place yesterday at St. Paul’s ProCathedral of Dorothy M. Moncrieff, widow of the late Flight-Lieutenant Moncrieff, the bridgegroom being* Mr Phillip 'Cooper. The Ven. Archdeacon; Johnston was the officiating clergyman.-
