OBITUARY.
MR. W. E. DYMOND. A tragically sudden death occurred early this morning, Mr. William Edward. Dymond, a. well-known business man of Hawera, dying in his sleep at his residence in Regent Street. He had complained of not feeling well for a couple of weeks, hut lie did not consider it serious. Mr. Dymond came to Hawera from Stratford" about 20 years ago, having been apprenticed to the cabinetmaking trade, and he joined up with the old business of Mr. A. H. Arthur, now Arthurs Ltd. He worked there until some years ago, when he set up in business for himself.
He was a leading member of the Druids’ Lodge, find was keenly interested in sport, having played several years in the Hawera Football Club and for a considerable time in the Park Tennis Club, of which he was an active member until the time of his death.
He is survived by Ids widow (nee Miss Agnes Brough, daughter of an old Hawera resident!, and by five children, four hoys and one girl.
