Evacuation of the 1 Rhineland formed the subject of an informal' meeting this afternoon between Lord Cnshendun, M. Briand, M. Hymans, Signor Scialoja and Herr Mueller. They discussed the problem from the geographical, ethnological and economical views. A concrete understanding canno-t he .expected before the end of the present Assembly, and no plans have been put forward. M Briand stated after the meeting that." it was only .the first conversation which will be continued on September 13. '
