WHAREROA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) A meeting of todies was held .to arrange a. .kitchen tea for Miss Annie Reynolds, who is to be married shortly. It was hoped to have a large gathering, as the family are well known and much liked. The recent stormy weather has played havoc with many gardens. We had n phenomenally severe hailstorm. Tho hail was as big as cherries in many places and did quite a. lot of damage. It broke windows and made holes in some galvanised iron tanks: Although the weather is boisterous yet the grass is coming away very well and the paddocks arc looking green and healthy. The cows are milking .extra well for this time of year and at the factory the staff is looking forward to a record year of production.
