INTERNATIONAL GAMES. TOURNEY AT HAMBURG. BRITISH IN SEMI-FINALS. (Australian Press Association —United Service.) HAMBURG, Aug. 10. In the tennis tourney, the Misses Boyd, Akburst, Russell and Mrs Watson ihaivo entered the semi-finals, bliss Aikhurst beat the former champion, Frau Friend'le'beu, and Miss Boyd beat Fraulein Krashwinkel after a hard game.
Those in the men’s semi-finals one Moiderhauor and Prenn (Germans), Ohta and Sleem, the latter beating Greig 6 —4, 6 —4, 4 —.., B—6. Missies Akburst and Boyd beat liraus Galvo and Hoffman 6—2, 6 —o. Mrs O’Hara Wood and Mrs Bickertom beat Frans P. Etery and Weihe 6—2, 6—4. The same pair in the semi-finals beat Frans Kallmeyer and Stephenus 6—3, 6—2.

It is announced that Tiklen was designated one of the Davis Cup players who meet ,six French Davis Cup players in a series of international mate-lies at Philadelphia on September 6 arid 8. but his participation will depend on the result of the hearing of the charges of professionalism on August 24. Six singles and three doubles will lie played. Lacoste will not be participating.
