RETURNED SOLDIERS’ REUNION. (From Our Own Correspondent). A meeting of returned sokllietnsi was he’d last night to make arrangements for a reunion and smoke concert, to he held in the Town Hall on Friday, August 3, 1928. The following members of the committee were present: Messrs E. T. Peach, E. Mulligan, D. F’rei, R. Parsons, J. Woolnough, H. Le Pfenning, E. A. Hurlieman, A. Coutts, T. Beaton and J. Home-Giles. Apologies were received from Messrs A. E. Spratt, S. Baiiley, G. Galloway and W. H. Attwood, who were unable to he present. Final arrangements were made for the catering arod. decorating of the Inall. Returned men of the district aire urged to be present and to bring their friends on this occasion, the first of its kind to he held in the township.
